Job Title: Production Technician
Levels: I, II, and Senior Tech
Location: Bristol, PA
Employment Type: Temporary to Direct
Compensation: $19- $22 (depending on level of experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift 7am- 3:30pm M-F
About the Opportunity:
Level I is an entry-level role that supports product design, development, prototyping, and testing activities for magnetic and electronic components. The ideal candidate is motivated, curious, detail oriented, and eager to expand their engineering skill-set under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Level II performs complex assembly, testing, and rework tasks requiring a higher level of technical skill. This role interprets detailed technical documentation, performs intermediate troubleshooting, and works independently on routine assignments.
The Senior Technician performs advanced, high-precision assembly and complex troubleshooting of electronic components and assemblies. This role serves as a technical expert, supporting process improvements, root-cause analysis, and training. Work is performed with a high level of independence.

What You'll Do:
Level I Technician
- Perform basic mechanical or electronic assembly using standard hand tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, routers, and visual aids for routine processes.
- Complete basic tasks such as lead preparation, wire stripping, simple soldering, coil winding, potting, encapsulation, and labeling.
- Conduct basic measurements and inspections using calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and other standard equipment.
- Assist with simple functional tests using standardized fixtures and record results accurately.
- Identify and report defects, documentation issues, or equipment concerns.
- Maintain clean workspaces following 5S, ESD, and safety protocols.
- Support material handling, inventory transactions, and basic machine setup tasks as needed.
Level II Technician
- Perform multi-step mechanical and electronic assemblies involving fine-pitch soldering, coil winding, precision alignment, encapsulation, termination, and component installation.
- Interpret drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and detailed work instructions.
- Conduct functional and calibration tests using specialized fixtures, meters, oscilloscopes, and software-based equipment.
- Perform rework, adjustments, and corrective actions for nonconforming units.
- Complete in-process inspections and maintain accurate traceability documentation.
- Troubleshoot routine issues related to materials, assembly, or testing and escalate complex problems.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process opportunities.
- Train and support Production Technician I employees.
Senior Technician
- Perform expert-level assembly, including micro-soldering, high-density layouts, intricate coil winding, and precision mechanical fit-ups.
- Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, or process-related issues and execute corrective rework.
- Conduct advanced functional, environmental, or performance testing using specialized test systems.
- Support engineering with prototypes, pre-production builds, and design-for-manufacturability input.
- Participate in or lead root-cause analysis for defects, test failures, and process variation.
- Recommend improvements to instructions, fixtures, tooling, and process flow.
- Validate build documentation and equipment changes.
- Mentor and train Production Technicians I and II; act as technical resource on the floor.
- Support continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).
