Location: Mesa, AZ

Compensation: 75-90k, depending on experience/qualifications
Schedule: Day shift, M-F, 40 hours per week

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of solar components. This role supervises production associates, coordinates workflow, monitors performance metrics, and ensures adherence to company standards, quality requirements, and production schedules.

What You'll Do:
Production Operations
  • Supervise daily activities of production personnel across assigned manufacturing lines
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Coordinate shift startup, staffing coverage, and workflow balancing
  • Monitor throughput, scrap rates, and downtime to optimize performance
  • Support equipment changeovers and process adjustments
Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop production team members
  • Conduct shift meetings and communicate goals, priorities, and updates
  • Monitor attendance, performance, and productivity metrics
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees
  • Promote a positive and accountable team culture
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and work instructions
  • Partner with Quality team to resolve defects and corrective actions
  • Maintain compliance with safety procedures and company policies
  • Support audits and documentation requirements
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and 5S programs
  • Track KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Participate in root-cause investigations and process improvements
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams
  • Support material availability and production readiness
  • Assist with production planning and schedule adjustments
 
Job Requirements

 
What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
 
What Sets You Apart:
  • 1+ year supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
  • Experience in solar, electronics, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing environments strongly preferred
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production setting
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (ERP systems, Excel, production tracking tools)
