Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Clearwater, FL
Employment: Contract (12 months)
Industry: Aerospace and Defense 
Compensation: $32.00 - $43.00 /hr.
Schedule: 4/10 hours/week - 2nd shift.

  • Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with design engineering to improve production processes.

What You'll Do:
  • Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies.
  • Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to implement production improvements.
  • Supports the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes.
  • May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
  • Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  • Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  • Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications.
  • Supports the production floor by working with the operations team.
  • Designs manufacturing processes and production layout for circuit card assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Understands how the circuit card assembly process works.
 
Job Requirements

 
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in a Cable harness and electromechanical subassembly experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in General Assembly
  • 1+ years of experience in AutoCad
  • 1+ years of experience in Blueprint Reading
  •

Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Candidate must be able to walk up and down stairs and must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
  • Candidate must be able to read/write English.
