Description

Acara solutions is looking for a Assembler for our client located in Manassas, VA

  • Perform repetitive light mechanical tasks as an operator on a fast-paced, high-rate production line.
  • Work collaboratively with advanced robotics and automation, using specialized tooling and fixturing in the manufacture of electronic or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Leverage multi-media work instructions to perform work and use a manufacturing execution system to document completions and quality defects.
  • May conduct in-line quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications and perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Operator may disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Pay and Benefits:                                                                                                    

  • The salary for this position is between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
 
Job Requirements
 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years' mechanical aptitude and mechanical assembly experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' Degree
  • Hand tool is experience.
  • Manual electronics solder experience.
  • Detail oriented
  • Team Player
  • Mechanical Assembly
  • Ability to work in a production environment
