Description

Acara Solutions in Suffolk County, NY is seeking a Class 'A' CNC Machinist with Team Lead experience. Our client is a certified manufacturer of precision machined refractory metal products. 
 
Job description:
- Will machine precision Aerospace parts in difficult materials such as Inconel, Titanium, Tungsten, Molybdenum, and other exotic materials.
- Perform the duties of a CNC machinist class A / Team leader. Establish schedules, problem solve, and train beginner to advanced Machinists
- Responsible for CNC Programming
- Run 3, 4, and 5-Axis Mills
- Mastercam CAD/CAM software programming
- Other duties as business needs dictate.
 
First shift: Open to negotiations on pay & benefits starting from $40+/hr.

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
1) Must have a High School Diploma or GED
2) Must have at least 10 years' CNC Machinist experience with a solid tenure record. Majority of experience within Aerospace machining.
3) At least 5 years' Master-cam and ERP experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
1) 15-25 years experience preferred
2) 5-Axis knowledge preferred
3) Cutting oil experience
