Acara Solutions is helping our international semiconductor client, in their Phoenix plant, find a "Process Integration Engineering" Section Manager to join their organization as a long term direct salaried employee. The salary range for this position is $170K - $230K DOE plus a significant bonus. 

The position requires at least 6 years of experience in the semiconductor field

As a Process Integration Engineering Manager you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust. The PIE Department is responsible for Transfer, Ramp and Sustaining Operation of a 5nm Foundry Factory.

  • Supervise 5 to 15 sustaining engineers. Drive continuous process improvement and develop / enhance the skills of the local work force. 
  • Your team will own a process section loop and you will have responsibilities for your loop integrated targets for Yield, Performance, and Reliability targets. 
  • You will lead your team to partner with Defect Metrology, Process, Equipment and Manufacturing engineering in identifying and driving process improvements to meet Performance, Reliability, Defect, Cost, and Productivity goals.   
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Must be willing to live overseas for up to a 9-month period for training (major expenses paid)
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field.
  • Min 6 years of experience managing employees (may consider less experience if considerable engineering experience) along with hands-on employee mentoring and development.
  • Min 10 years of advanced semiconductor manufacturing experience or R&D in integration (will consider candidates with 7 years of experience with a Master's or PhD). 
The above experience should include the following: 
  • Candidate should have expert understanding of CMOS FinFET process, or  advance BEOL Cu Damascene flow.   
  • FEOL candidates must have experience in R/D or manufacturing sustaining, improvement of one or more process loops:  Isolation, Poly, EPI, RMG, or Contact Loop.
  • BEOL candidates must have experience in Dual Damascene processing and deep expertise in the materials aspects that impact BEOL performance, yield and reliability.
