Acara Solutions is currently hiring Test Technicians in Lockport, NY! These opportunities are IMMEDIATE NEEDS, interviews will be held ASAP! 

Job Duties Include:
Performing testing and troubleshooting of electronic equipment to meet production schedules and performance standards.  
  1. Performs various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
  1. Uses test procedures, drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
  1. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where the ability to recognize nonconformities is required.
  1. Communicates openly and effectively in a professional manner.
  1. Understands and follows all safety requirements.
  1. Understands and follows all ISO practices and procedures.
  1. Maintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
  1. May assist with training other AE employees in established processes.
  1. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  1. Documents test results accurately.
  1. May act as the technical interface with other departments.
  1. Models professional and positive work ethics.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience soldering components onto PC Boards
  • Minimum 1 year experience troubleshooting electronic devices  
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • IPC-610 Certification
  • Experience with high voltage electronic test equipment
