Acara Solutions is looking for an Aerospace Technician for our Client located in Atlanta, GA

Compensation: $20-$26
Shift: 1st
  • Reports to the Shop Lead Technician, or Shop Manager.
  • Considered trainable in his or her position 
  • Some supervision is expected
  • As applicable to the designated shop: can learn to Test, Repair & Overhaul aircraft components using FAA approved data 
  • Understand the use of basic test equipment.
  • Dexterity with hand tools.
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as Technician

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Technical college, or Military training 
  • Be willing to learn new skills to advance within the company.
  • Be willing to follow company policies and procedures
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English and knowledge of basic math.
  • Ability to follow written instructions approved by the FAA/ OEM/ Airline EO, data for maintenance 
  • Has ability to learn use of Multi-meters, Hi Pot Testers, Bonding Testers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators, Torque Wrenches, Calipers, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Have knowledge of basic test equipment for the position.  
  • Be adaptive and willing to engage new concepts, processes, and technical capabilities.
  • Dexterity with hand tools.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
