Acara Solutions is seeking a Material Coordinator to work with an electronics manufacturing organization located in Hillsboro, OR 


What you will receive:
Pay Rate: $25 Hourly 
Shift: Front half nights: Every other Sat/Sun, Mon, Tues
Hours: 6:45pm - 7:00am 
Contract: Temp to perm based role 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Material Handler is to maintain and control our inventory at the customer facility covering basic logistics activities. These covers receiving materials arriving at the customer, facilitating material usage onsite, shipping materials offsite, and all activities in between. This role will require being in the customer cleanroom for the majority of the time. May require domestic travel. 

  • Ensure the timely arrival of materials in the Work center (40% of the activities are physical movements)
  • Monitor material availability on the basis of the progress of one or more work centers within the factory.
  • Process and solve disturbances as first-line support.
  • Process administration of transactions, book materials to and from orders as well as to and from (storage) locations. Report deviations and take corrective and preventive actions.
 
Job Requirements

 
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling 
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience with Excel
  • Basic MS office skills
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Looking for someone who wants to learn and is coachable.
