Description
Are you a master of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) with a knack for precision and efficiency?
Acara Solutions has a client in Irvine who wants you to join their team as a Surface Mount Technology
Operator and Programmer! In this Direct Hire role, you'll leverage your expertise to program FUJI surface
mount pick and place machines, maintain equipment, and ensure seamless operations. If you're ready to take
on a dynamic challenge with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you!
Pay ranges from $27.00-$31.00 p/hr.
Responsibilities:
Program FUJI surface mount pick and place machines with precision and accuracy
Create and modify component profiles for SMT and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment
- Maintain SMT assembly folders to streamline workflow
- Develop inspection programs for AOI machines to uphold quality standards
- Establish and maintain reflow oven profiles for optimal performance
- Manage inventory of stencils and consumable items essential for operations
- Provide technical support to machine operators and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Support efforts to achieve production goals alongside Engineers, Designers, and Management
- Adhere to quality and safety standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Perform other tasks as required to meet business needs
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Proficiency in FUJI Nexium Programming software
- Ability to interpret Bill of Materials and Assembly drawings
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610, Class 3 workmanship standards
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in AOI Programming is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and capability to manufacture assembly fixtures
- Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems is advantageous
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical degree/certificate preferred
- 3-5 years of experience programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting Fuji SMT equipment
