Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our customer in Tualatin, OR. Interested?
Purpose of the job:
- The Machine Operator is responsible for precise Plastic Machining of custom parts and/or components using customer and/or engineering supplied drawings and other work instruction for specific parts.
- Must be able to meet or exceed the requirement of the project through CNC machine operation.
- Collaborate with programmers and fabricators throughout the manufacturing process for each phase of the project.
- Ability to understand and execute the proper order of operations.
- Must pay close attention to details on work instruction and machine set up sheets. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must have expertise in measuring components with gauges and calipers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform basic set-ups and operate machines in more than one assigned area
- Operate complex equipment and machines in a safe manner
- Fit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
- Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications
- Identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity
- Maintain logs and other necessary documents
- Work with direct supervision
Here's what you will receive:
Pay: $20-24.50/hour
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: 6am-4:30pm, Mon-Th
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices
- Ability to operate a variety of machines
- Basic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- 1-2+ years manufacturing or related work experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
