Acara Solutions is looking for a Distribution Sales Manager for a direct placement role with our client in Buffalo, NY.
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, vison
  • $75k/yr + quarterly commission
  • 30% travel

Job Specification 

The Distribution Sales Manager is responsible to develop and grow Client distributor sales in line with the Company's objectives. This role will support our existing network of distributors, as well as, create and cultivate a new network. Working side by side with the Distribution Account Manager, utilizing existing sales experience to reach required targets, you will be able to grow our reach throughout North America 


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop proven solutions to customers needs
  • Successfully introduce new product lines to existing distributors
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully identifying and converting new distribution accounts
  • Develop quality relationships with new contacts
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations for existing and potential customers
  • Utilize product-specific knowledge to support sales through our distribution network
  • Provide face to face support to customers, as required; prepare presentations as needed
  • Develop distribution networks within targeted geographies
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor distributor activity using our CRM and ERP systems
  • Provide a meaningful, helpful and enjoyable experience for our customers
  • Prioritize markets and determine market entry strategies for new regions and for new and existing product lines
  • Collect and analyze market data to drive growth and develop markets
  • Ensure revenue targets of distributors are achieved within the responsible territories
  • Establish and lead regular meetings and conference calls with distributors

Job Specification

  • Ensure distributors are equipped with the necessary sales skills to represent Client through coaching individuals in the field and personally observing the performance of distributors Implement new sales strategies and techniques with the distributors
  • Establish and enforce pricing and discount policies
  • Monitor lead pipelines
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts for the upcoming three to six months
  • Attend trade applicable tradeshows
  • Travel required


 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 10+yrs of experience in Sales Distribution
  • 10+yrs of experience in a mechanical/commercial/industrial environment
  • HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to plan and direct initiatives for growth
  • Excellent follow-through and task completion
  • Willingness to pursue new or unproven ideas; ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate distributors and effectively engage with customers
  • Computer skills - Microsoft office
