Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site of our customers in an end user support capacity providing exceptional customer service.
  • Our Desktop Support Technician will perform a variety of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and/or software. 
  • Using knowledge in all aspects of computer design, functionality, system operation, and infrastructure. 
  • Desktop Technicians will be handling moving equipment between sites, imaging, refreshes, data migrations, etc. Could include some break/fix work. 
  • Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.
  • Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources
  • Install and configure network devices (i.e. network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.). Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices.
  • Assist in the relocation of customer employees on the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in new location).
  • Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
  • Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment
Pay: 20/hr+ (Depending on experience)
Hours: 4x 10
Length: 12m+ long term contract opportunity

 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 2 years experience with computer support
  • High School Diploma/GED
 
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Possessed project management and strong communication skills
  • Ability to provide high-level end user technical support to internal leadership
  • Knowledge of Aero IT processes and organizations (or ability to learn quickly)
  • General Knowledge of IT including awareness of Hardware, Software, Networks
  • Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.
  • Demonstrates excellent Customer Service and ability to communicate with high level leaders in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Secret Clearance and Sec+ (helpful but not required)
