Acara Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Haverhill MA

This will be an onsite role -- but the client acknowledges/understands and will be flexible for all life events 

  • The Project Engineer for systems & development coordinates overall integration of developmental builds from moving from engineering to manufacturing
  • Set project timelines, track progress, budget and coordinate with other functional groups and teams to meet objectives
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives
  • Coordinate resolving first article build issues on which may involve design, materials, vendor or processes issues
  • Work with team to develop and implement mitigation plans to ensure project goals are met as challenges arise
  • Investigate or resolve operational problems, such as material use variances or bottlenecks
  • Engages with team to proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintains appropriate communication with management to ensure issues are known and can be addressed as appropriate
  • Perform functions such as reviewing or writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, or purchasing of materials or services
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 yrs. Minimum experience as a Project Engineer in a Manufacturing Environment

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Strong project management, organizational and conceptualization skills
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Ability to understand technical issues related to manufacturing
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, team leadership, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems and basic manufacturing processes
  • Solid MS Office, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
