Acara Solutions is seeking a highly qualified HR Generalist to join our client's team in Torrance, CA!


Here's what you'll do:


HR Program Support/Administration

  • Event Planning including Recognition and Celebration Programs
  • Focus group or survey administration
  • Communication programs (e.g. town halls, newsletters, boards, emails, etc.)
  • Support of Projects and Initiatives
  • Help facilitate employee engagement/morale committee and its activities


New employee orientation (O.N.E. program)

  • Prepare for weekly new employee orientation (e.g. notify managers/supervisors, arrange for catering, follow up on missing information, set up conference room, set up video conferencing, etc.)
  • New hire documents
  • Scheduling and facilitation
  • Badges, E-verity, tax forms, file setup, etc.
  • Provide tour of facility


L&D Support

  • Reporting and tracking of HR training
  • Coordination of company-sponsored training or lunch & learns
  • Administration of local training funding


General HR & Administrative Duties

  • Distribution of required documentation (e.g. new hire notices; wage changes, etc.)
  • Supply ordering for HR team
  • Teach/direct employees to Employee Support 
  • Oversee COVID-19 cases (contact tracing, advise employees as to quarantine requirements, notifications, report cases to the county and stay informed as to any changes to local or state regulation, etc.)
  • Coordinate introductory progress review meetings (tracking new hires and host discussions with managers/supervisors)
  • Assist Employee Engagement with special projects that are assigned


Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00/Hr    

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).

Length: Contract to possible hire

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Progressive Human Resources
