Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Highland Hills, OH. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsibilities include formulating and implementing processes to ensure timely and accurate submission of client payroll tax returns.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate & timely preparation and filing of all Quarterly and Annual payroll-related tax returns.
  • Payroll Tax returns include but are not limited to Federal 941 and 940, State Withholding, State Unemployment, Local Withholding, and submittal of wage information for SSA. 
  • Additionally, printing and distributing W2's during year-end.
  • Assist customers with completing payroll tax registrations. 
  • Respond & resolve issues related to tax notices. 
  • Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts. 
  • Assist with audit prep & year-end prep.
  • Applicant must keep abreast of current tax laws to ensure compliance. 
  • Timely and accurate completion of all tasks is maintained in an organized effective and positive manner. 
  • All duties are implemented in a manner to supports company policies and procedures and enhances teamwork.
  • Typical work will be conducted indoors. 
  • Be needed work days and hours that will be dictated by current business needs. 
  • Quarterly tax return filing months may need 60 hour work week. 
  • Advance will provide all necessary work tools to perform the job.

  • Pay Rate: $17.26-22.00/hr
  • Hours: 40 Hours/Week 1st Shift
  • Length: Temporary (4 Months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED        
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Accounting and Finance, Amending Tax Returns, Payroll Tax, Spreadsheets, Tax Preparation
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience with Master Tax Software
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles. 
  • Be detail-oriented, customer-focused, proactive, and able to work under pressure. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet and proficiency in basic office equipment.
  • Critical Thinking
  • Mathematical Skills

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
