Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested? 

 

Here's what you'd do:

  • Solder SMT and through-hole electronic components
  • Identify electronic components. 
  • Read and understand assembly drawings
  • Assemble and label components, assemblies, and subassemblies per specifications
  • Follow work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine established assembly methods
  • Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies to include cables and wire harnesses
  • Assist with wave soldering and in the second assembly as needed.
  • Responsible for the visual inspection of their assembly work
  • Practiced ESD, FOD, and safety regulations according to company policy.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Mi-Wave is a leading manufacturer of microwave/millimeter wave components and sub-assemblies used in critical communication systems all over the world. 
  • Due to the tight tolerances and sensitive nature of such products, quality is an extremely important factor in our production, assembly, and testing processes.

 

Here's what you'll get:

Pay:  $15.00 - $19.44 / hrs.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (2nd shift)

Length: CONTRACT (12 Months)

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Soldering and other assembly processes
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in Circuit board assembly

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to use numerous types of equipment and assembly tools, including microscopes, soldering irons, tweezers, calipers, picks, scalpels, hot plates, epoxies
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently, under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Able to work closely with designers, engineers, and technicians.
  • Knowledge of testing and troubleshooting electronic components
  • Able to read and write English.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Able to sit at a microscope for extended periods.
