Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Solder SMT and through-hole electronic components
- Identify electronic components.
- Read and understand assembly drawings
- Assemble and label components, assemblies, and subassemblies per specifications
- Follow work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine established assembly methods
- Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies to include cables and wire harnesses
- Assist with wave soldering and in the second assembly as needed.
- Responsible for the visual inspection of their assembly work
- Practiced ESD, FOD, and safety regulations according to company policy.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Mi-Wave is a leading manufacturer of microwave/millimeter wave components and sub-assemblies used in critical communication systems all over the world.
- Due to the tight tolerances and sensitive nature of such products, quality is an extremely important factor in our production, assembly, and testing processes.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $15.00 - $19.44 / hrs.
Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (2nd shift)
Length: CONTRACT (12 Months)

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Soldering and other assembly processes
- Minimum of 1-year experience in Circuit board assembly
- Ability to use numerous types of equipment and assembly tools, including microscopes, soldering irons, tweezers, calipers, picks, scalpels, hot plates, epoxies
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently, under minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Able to work closely with designers, engineers, and technicians.
- Knowledge of testing and troubleshooting electronic components
- Able to read and write English.

Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
