ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale have 5 contract to hire positions available.

 Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator 

Up to $32.00 per hour 
1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts available along with shift differential on all shifts

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE CLEARANCE/Any skill level with a clearance will be considered.  
Use of small tools, and able to read assembly instructions.

You'll be engaged with Raytheon's Spy 6 radar project, and you can find videos about it on their website. The work primarily involves mechanical assembly. We require cleared personnel for all three shifts, capable of adhering to a shifted work week that includes Saturdays and Sundays as part of their regular schedule. Day's off will fall mid-week. There's an additional shift premium for those working on Saturdays and Sundays: 10% for the first shift and 20% for the second and third shifts.
  • The Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator will perform moderately complex project tasks/assignments ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • You'll perform fabrication or inspection functions in research, production, or pre-production by reading and interpreting moderately complex schematics and drawings.
  • Following more advanced methods, techniques, and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on subassemblies and units, we'll rely on you to build or integrate hardware for prototypes, subassemblies, or systems, perform moderately complex electrical tests, and rework and refurbish hardware and systems.
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Manufacturing/Production.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform more advanced loading and configuring of customer/standard software on customer devices.
  • Ability to accurately complete process paperwork and enter data into the applicable work order management system.
  • Solid computer, communication, and time management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of measuring/test equipment and math.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.

 

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.
