Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our customer in Fremont, CA.  
 
We are looking for a CNC Operator to use Large Vertical Machining Center's (CNC) safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. An acute eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as milling, drilling, and tapping etc.
  • Understand specifications of the specific part and the desired result by reading blueprints, travelers, and mechanical drawings etc.
  • Prepare and load raw materials into the machines as some materials are bulky and require extreme caution when handling.
  • Prepare and machine first part to verify tools and offsets to produce all features according to specifications.
  • Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce consistent results.
  • Inspect and measure where applicable finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed accurately.
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
  • The candidate must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines.

Here's what you'll get: 
 
Starting Pay Rate: $26.00 - $31.00/hr DOE + 10% shift differential
Duration: Temp-Hire based on business needs and performance  
Shift: Monday through Friday, (2nd shift, 2pm - 10:30pm)

 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Proven 5 years experience as CNC operator. 
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Good communication abilities.
