Acara Solutions is hiring a skilled Test Technician to work with our manufacturing client in Meridian, ID.
What You'll Do:
As a Test Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our client's operations. 
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Working in a class 100 cleanroom environment for extended hours
  • Prioritizing tasks effectively in a demanding setting
  • Demonstrating integrity in decision-making to ensure employee and customer safety and satisfaction
  • Performing various physical tasks such as bending, squatting, climbing ladders, and working at heights
  • Reading, understanding, and improving Quality Management System (QMS) work instructions
  • Utilizing solid knowledge of electrical circuits, engineering drawings, and assembly techniques
  • Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing circuit troubleshooting
  • Lifting and carrying objects up to 50lbs, and other physical tasks as required
Job Requirements

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Electronics
  • Minimum three years of experience in applied or industrial controls and electronics
  • Familiarity with ladder logic, Allen Bradley, and Unitronics PLCs

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
