Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Malabar, FL. Interested?


Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsible for identifying and documenting quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems. 
  • Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating company products' precision, accuracy, and reliability. 
  • Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards. 
  • Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on refining and optimizing business processes. 
  • Oversees testing department activities and the work of inspectors. 
  • Review, approve, and control work order flow tags. 
  • Develop inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods, and procedures. 
  • Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
  • Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
  • Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
  • Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
  • Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.
  • Disposition and analysis of production and supplier defects on all F35 products
  • Interface and collaborate with manufacturing engineering to help solve technical and logistical issues with F35 products
  • Verify that all shippable product meets and exceed customer requirements and specifications
  • Develop and Mentor junior engineers
  • Support communication on status to program management
  • Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses.
  • Interface and collaborate with supply quality engineering concerning the technical requirements of suppliers.
  • Review and approve specifications, such as manufacturing work instructions, for adequacy, quality, and compliance with specifications and contractual requirements.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $43 - $46 / hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (1st shift)

Length: Contract (12 Months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience collaborating with the Material Review Board .
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Continuous Improvement, Corrective / Preventive Action, RCCA, & 8D/DMAIC.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct quality engineering experience.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Certified Quality Engineer - CQE.
  • Ability to focus, prioritize, and multi-task to drive tasks to closure and support customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Able to function with other departments.
  • Operations management.
  • Mentoring of junior engineers.
