Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Blacksburg, VA.

 

Here's what you'd do: 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for supporting the Inventory Manager in efforts falling under. Shipping/Receiving/Kitting/Lead form and tinning/Document Control. Support activities related to inventory receipt, inspection, storing, and distribution per contract requirements. Ensure that all assembly travelers are kitted correctly and efficiently. Communicate with the Inventory Manager to ensure that production is not adversely affected by material/inventory issues. Support the shipping of products and materials to ensure shipments are ready in a timely manner. Ensure the completion and communication of shipping paperwork for correct deliveries. Moving large quantities of merchandise with carts, dollies, and other moving equipment. Additional duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager.


Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $20.00/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with inventory and tinning
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with electronic component tinning and using solder pot for dipping electronic components.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with MRP (Manufacturing Requirements Planning) systems.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, versatility, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
