Acara Solutions is searching for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team as a 2nd shift Material Handler in Sanborn, NY. If you are interested in starting a career in the manufacturing industry and developing your skills and knowledge long-term, this is the opportunity for you! 


Position: Material Handler 

Type: Contract to hire with strong work performance 

Functional area: Manufacturing

Worksite: Sanborn, NY

Wage: $18/HR

Schedule: 2nd shift, M-F 10:30am-7:00pm 


Job Description:

The Material Handler ensures materials are handled safely both physically and in accordance with company standards. Material Handlers work with supervision and team leads to meet daily warehouse/manufacturing goals.


Key job functions include, but are not limited to: 

  • Picking orders for inter-company and third-party customers
  • Picking manufacturing orders and staging them at stations
  • Receiving freight from inter-company and third-party suppliers
  • Put away and handling of received material
  • Packaging of parts for kitting cell building stock or third-party kits
  • Following all safety requirements from the company report any safety concerns
  • Following applicable internal procedures and work instructions
Job Requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of material handling experience
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use material handling equipment wave, pallet jack, etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with co workers
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Mapics)
