Engineering Project Lead & Release Manager Mid-level


Systems Engineer degree preferred or SW Engineering or Electrical EE
Mid-level not Sr. Level
SW Buildings cross functional team, Cyber, IT and others including field services teams.  (Deployments)
PowerPoint, communication skills, multitasking. 
PM lead role do have some tasks as well, SW updates, enhancements.
Sustainment not new development.  Rescue 21 is set.
Maybe travel 1X every 3 months or so if that.
This is a contract to hire position for the right person
Excel, Microsoft 
1-3 days in office, depending on what needs to be done.

  • As a Project Lead and Release Manager on the Rescue 21 program, you will work closely with a diverse engineering team, the program management office, and our call center and field support representatives to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of all projects and tasks.
  • 5 years of Project management experience
  • Your primary responsibilities will include proposing, planning, executing, and delivering project deliverables.  
  • This entails defining objectives, creating schedules, collaborating among stakeholders, and ensuring projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule.  
  • Additionally, you will monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Project management.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Ability to motivate a team.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and handle some negotiations.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in complex environments.

  • Fully proficient ability to communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions.
  • Fully proficient ability to communicate project topics quickly and effectively to a diverse audience.
  • Fully proficient ability to clearly report relevant information.
  • Ability to understand and apply project leadership principles, including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management (CAM), and Statistical Process Controls for complex programs.
  • Fully proficient ability to anticipate technology, process, and skill needs.
