Acara Solutions is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator with our client located in Clarence, NY!
  • 8-12month contract
  • $26/hr
  • Mon-Fri business hours , hybrid in office Tue & Thu
The primary purpose of this position is to perform various Accounts Payable functions, under general supervision. These functions include posting entries and processing payments. Responds in a timely fashion to inquiries and contacts other departments or vendors to resolve a variety of problems. Assists in performance of various clerical duties. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to GB Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements. 
  • Performs procedures that are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. 
  • Processes vendor invoices in Oracle. 
  • Investigates and reconciles discrepancies between invoices with Oracle. 
  • Responsible for I-Expense auditing by verifying that expense reports are in accordance with Company policy. 
  • Communicates daily with vendors to resolve receiving, price, and purchase order issues.
  • Clerical functions: collects and distributes mail and files vendor invoices. 
  • Performs other functions as required.

 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 2+yrs of accounting experience
  • 1+yrs of experience with Oracle
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • AAS in Accounting or two-year degree in an accounting or business field preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  •  Microsoft Excel experience
