Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in San Antonio, TX. Interested?

 

Here's what you'd do:

  • Performs data entry, queries, and reports in Microsoft Access, Railroad Commission On-Line Databases, and internal Excel spreadsheets.
  • Updates Customer Information System in SAP for meter transactions on customer accounts.
  • Utilizes Work Manager and Mobile Data to release, schedule, and coordinate work orders with appropriate crews based on customer needs, dates, and crew availability.
  • Communicates and coordinates between Construction Managers, Planners, Engineers, Construction Coordinators, and Crews to ensure that work orders and design orders are scheduled to accommodate customer need-by dates.
  • Dispatch orders using routing and scheduling all work orders to Gas Troubleman via Mobile Data.
  • Dispatches, schedules, and routes multiple crew crafts using Work Manager and Mobile Data.
  • Utilizes maps and known work locations and calls technicians to route leak complaints.
  • Obtains COSA and TxDOT permits and permit extensions for each work order as needed and handles all COSA backfill permit notifications.
  • Schedules and updates as necessary routes for Gas Troublemen for the upcoming week according to who is scheduled off/on.
  • Prepare monthly productivity reports with total order counts for the month, completed orders, and orders out of compliance for the different work areas.
  • Monitors Gas Troublemen's daily workload, redistributes work if necessary, and reports any concerns to Supervision.
  • Orders traffic control barricades and traffic officers to job sites if necessary.
  • Dispatches leak crews to Grade 1 leaks and 3rd party damage damages.
  • Communicate with leak crews on work status and time of completion to route emergency leak work.
  • Dispatches Gas Emergency orders efficiently to support efforts of achieving < 30-minute response.
  • Creates and cancels any necessary orders needed for Gas Troublemen or upon the request of supervision.
  • Creates 3rd Party damage notifications for internal communication.
  • Request locates from Texas One Call System for construction crews.
  • Dispatch and schedule welders to job sites to assist with Leak Repair work.
  • Process timesheets for various work areas in Gas Operations.
  • Verify that the meter removes/installs information in SAP.
  • Communicates and coordinates construction work orders with Contractors, COSA inspectors, planners, engineers, and Gas Operations personnel.
  • Plots gas maps or interprets gas sketches, grid maps, and service cards.
  • Produce daily Mobile Data reports for area Supervision.

 

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $24.15/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (24 Months).

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in construction practices.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, e-mail, and scheduling.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience using Work Manager, SAP, Mobile Data (Dispatch and Mobile Application), and Regulatory reporting.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service and telephone.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to read job designs in MicroStation and GIS.
  • Ability to schedule multiple crafts, knowledge of Dig Tess locates, and COSA/TxDOT permitting processes.
  • Knowledge of Excel.
  • Minimum of 2 years of speaking in English and Spanish.
