Here's what you'd do:

  • Lam Research is looking for a Product Engineer (contractor, 40 hours/week) that can support their Wet Clean Optimization service. This service involves semiconductor capital equipment maintenance processes and video procedures, validating mechanical fixtures to facilitate maintenance tasks, and user acceptance testing of service software. You will be part of a rapidly growing and high-profile team within the Lam Research organization. You will be able to contribute and make a difference in how this service is created, designed and delivered to our valued customers.
     
     You will be responsible for producing, implementing, and maintaining solutions as well as participating in troubleshooting and issue resolution working with field support teams. As an engineer, you will be in one of the fastest-growing businesses at Lam Research. Our products are scaling rapidly, and this is the team with the most to gain.
     
    • Manage timeline and project logistics for new WCO service products
    • Perform technical scoping for new maintenance procedures and customer change requests
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to clarify maintenance procedures when only sparse documentation is available
    • Work with videographers and film editors to consolidate complex maintenance manuals into multimedia procedures for Lam Research products and applications
    • Understand and optimize of specialized maintenance procedure structures, and media formats, as well as overall customer-formatted packages
    • Lead team of media experts to produce media (videos, pictures, and/or animations) to outline and depict maintenance procedures
    • Design, conduct, and evaluate hardware testing for parts and fixtures that facilitate equipment maintenance and provide substantive feedback to engineers
    • Test and validate new software applications and features. Identify opportunities to improve applications and work with developers implement recommendations
  • Present project updates and results to management in formal and informal presentations

 

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $60/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

1st Shift: Mon - Fri

Length: 2 year contract

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Engineering field 
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills 
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills (long-term planning, scheduling, coordinating actions, communicating deliverables, etc.) 
  • Strong interest and ability to author technical documents
  • Experience with mechanical design and CAD (NX/Creo preferred, Solidworks acceptable)
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently 
Able to work up to 8-hour shifts in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE 
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience with semiconductor equipment (knowledge, operation, and/or maintenance)
  • Experience working with version control and document/content management systems
  • Experience with agile software development in C++ or similar
  • Ability to write code in VBA, MATLAB, or similar
  • Experience with filming, photography, and camera equipment a plus
  • Experience with video editing (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects) a plus
  • Experience with graphic design and photography (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop) a plus
Experience with 3D animations (Blender, Keyshot, Unity) and CAD optimization a plus
