Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Clerk for the Distribution Center for our client in Gouverneur, NY.
Pay: $15.00/hour
Reporting to the warehouse supervisors, the position involves the collection of boxes/compacting boxes, tidying of aisles, clean floors, take care of garbage, empty non-credit totes and change plastic bags and other assigned maintenance duties. In addition to that training may be provided on lowboy and forklift to fulfill duties and cross training in warehouse "picking" (picking and packing totes) may be required as well to assist in various departments as needed. Paid training is provided.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Forklift
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Maintenance experience preferred
- Basic math skills preferred
- Experience with electric pallet jacks and power equipment preferred
Additional Information:
- Must be capable of repetitive reaching, standing, lifting, twisting, bending and walking.
- Must be capable of moving and lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Shift starts at 9pm and goes to 7:30am. You will be expected to work every other weekend. (40 hour work week - 4, 10 hour shifts on a rotational basis).
