Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Chelmsford, MA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and mid-range to high-complexity sub-assemblies. 
  • Duties include installing connectors, substrates, components, and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often using paste and sheet epoxies.
  • Performs disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology. 
  • Performs the above operations after the units have been rejected by testing and are sent back with test failure sheets, isolating the problem area. 
  • Plans work sequence by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements.
  • Utilizes measurement equipment (reticle, drop indicator) to check parameters during and after work to ensure the unit conforms to specifications. 
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to specifications. 

 

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $37.31 / hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (2nd shift)

Length: Contract (12 Months)

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
  • Good computer skills are needed to support the retrieval of drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Good interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices
  • Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience soldering components to printed wiring boards by J-STD-001.
