Are you ready to kickstart your career in manufacturing? Acara Solutions client in Tualatin OR, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assembler
to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for those who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Duration: Temporary
Salary: $20.00-$24.50 p/hr. with 10% differential
Swing shift: Mon-Thurs 4:00 pm-2:30 am
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex assembly, assembly testing, adjustments and quality checks
- Review production data to identify areas on non-conformance and implement modifications as necessary
- Prepare status reports
- Work with team members to devise and develop modifications and improvements to equipment, processes, systems, and tooling
- Ensure and verify material is handled and loaded on production lines properly
- Give direction and training on product/customer specifications and workmanship standards
- Audit all stages of the build sequence for completeness, consistency, and workmanship
- Provide immediate feedback and training when problems occur
- Work independently with moderate supervision
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Skilled in the operation of a variety of assembly tools
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good MS Word, Excel, and MRP skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift to 50 lbs.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2-4+ years of production or related work experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or Technical training or equivalent
