Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a Payroll Administrator for our client, a leader in heavy highway construction, located in Elma NY.   

Location: Elma, NY (Zip Code 14059)
 Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
 Salary: Up to $60,000/year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process in-house weekly payroll for union and nonunion employees using ECMS, a construction industry-specific accounting system. (Approximately 20 employees during the slower winter months to over 90 employees during the busy spring and fall seasons.)
  • Manage payroll adjustments, deductions, and union reporting requirements accurately and timely.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks, such as accounts payable, receivable, or document management, as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports, including overtime, benefits, and tax filings.

Job Requirements

 

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma 
  • Minimum 2 years of Office Administration experience 

 

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Payroll processing and accounting experience, preferred 
  • Union payroll processing and reporting experience, highly preferred
  • Familiarity with ECMS or similar construction accounting systems, preferred
