Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer to join our multi-disciplinary firm in West Palm Beach, FL.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces and can assist the office principals during the design, permitting and construction phases.
Responsibilities
- Design landscape plans for residential and commercial projects
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects
- Develop creative solutions to challenging design problems
- Work with clients to determine project goals and objectives
- Research and evaluate existing site conditions
- Work with other design professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Prepare presentations and reports for clients
- Participate in site visits to evaluate existing conditions
- Attend meetings with clients and other design professionals
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
- Knowledge of local (Palm Beach) and state regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D graphics
- Knowledge of sub tropical & tropical plant materials and construction techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
