Description

Acara Solutions is currently hiring a Flight Test and Quality Control Technician for our client located in Cerritos, CA. 


Flight Test and QC Technician responsibility:

Ensuring the electronic equipment to meet manufacturer specifications and performance standards, and 

proper procedures are taken before it returns back to the customer.

 

  • Inspect the product and ensure that there is no cosmetic damages
  • Ensure customer's requests matches with the repairs that has been performed
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic devices, equipment, and systems to identify issues, malfunctions, and defects.
  • Utilize testing equipment, schematics, and technical documentation to diagnose and isolate problems within electronic components.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality control checks after repairs to ensure the proper functioning and reliability of repaired devices.
  • Calibrate and adjust electronic equipment to meet manufacturer specifications and performance standards.
  • Take photos of the products for liability reasons or proof for shipment
  • Test fly the unit and record the video to ensure the units are operating correctly
  • Log in the flight testing and quality assurance information to the CRM system
  • Generate reports that certifies the equipment meets manufacturer specifications and performance standards
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide repair solution, technical expertise and support for resolving repair related issues.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


What you'll get:

Contract: Temporary

Pay rate: $17.27 - 24.25 p/hr.

Shift: 1st shift

 
Job Requirements
 

Required Skills / Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED  
  • Technical degree (A.A)
  • 6 month of electronic mechanic quality assessment experience
  • Experience in using DJI products or remote-control products required
  • FAA Part 107 Certification preferred

 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Previous hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Imperial and SI units.
  • Previous RC Experience a plus
  • previous CRM experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of remote-control products
  • Knowledge of electronic terminology are preferred (ex. volts)
  • Camera knowledge preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft excel required
  • Thorough knowledge about DJI products is a huge plus
  • Excellent communication skills
