Description
Acara Solution is looking for a Software Engineer - Test Systems Developer for Our client located in Canonsburg, PA
Here's what you'd do:
- As a Software Engineer - Test Systems Developer (Senior Software Engineer) for the Torpedo Systems Group, you will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for sustaining and creating software for embedded applications.
- You will participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Understanding of the software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Comfortable in implementing ideas from scratch, owning major application features, and taking responsibility for their maintenance and improvement over time.
- A significant level of Windows application development architecture expertise (e.g., Win32 apps, WPF apps, WinUI 3 apps).
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics with 2 years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in C/C++, and LabWindows/CVI
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Object Oriented Development.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Windows/Visual Studio
- Minimum of 2 years of SQL/SQL Server or like relational database experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience participating in technical architecture decisions for complex products.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Windows kernel level debugging and diagnostics using tools such as Windows DDK or WinDBG
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing, testing and debugging software for Windows OS using Visual Studio IDE and Windows SDK.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Implementing Version Control and standing up branching strategies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Automating processes for build, test, and deploy.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with agile/lean principles in software development.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Agile experience
- Deep understanding of software design patterns such as Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM), Model-View-Presenter (MVP), etc.
- Demonstrated in-depth understand of Windows Low Level Systems development and Application Programming Interface.
