What You'll Do:
- Design and develop mechanical components and hardware for semiconductor equipment applications
- Perform engineering analysis related to heat transfer, stress, vibration, fluid/gas dynamics, and manufacturability
- Create and execute validation and characterization test plans for new and existing designs
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure manufacturable, cost-effective solutions
- Prepare technical documentation including FMEA, specifications, risk analyses, and design review presentations
- Ensure engineering documentation complies with SEMI, ANSI, DIN, and GD&T standards
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant engineering experience OR Master's degree with 0-1 years of relevant engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience in thermal analysis and heat transfer applications
- 2+ years of CAD design experience, preferably using NX
- 2+ years of experience interpreting and applying GD&T standards
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office in a technical or engineering environment
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Skills in MATLAB and Simulink
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience including structural or CFD analysis
- Broad knowledge of materials including metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and coatings
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate and compare competing design concepts effectively
