Description

Job Summary:
This position requires in-depth knowledge of project management fundamentals and a demonstrated track record of successful project execution. The Project Manager is responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating the efforts of the project team to plan and execute medium - large scale and complex engineering and manufacture projects and programs in strict accordance with customer requirements and business objectives.

Duties:
• Coordinate and manage assigned projects, ensuring strong teamwork, clear communication, and high standards of quality and performance.
• Manage project scope to ensure delivery within approved budget and schedule; monitor progress, identify risks, and implement timely corrective actions as needed.
• Initiate, review, and evaluate third‑party supplier proposals and contracts.
• Oversee internal and external resources to ensure effective project execution and alignment with project objectives and requirements.
• Conduct high‑level technical investigations related to product design features and performance.
• Demonstrate or develop a working knowledge of applicable regulations, by‑laws, standards, and specifications, including OESC and CSA requirements related to manufacturing products.
• Identify project issues, provide technical analysis, and recommend practical solutions.
• Prepare clear reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior management.
• Provide regular, structured project status updates to senior leadership.
• Participate in meetings with consultants, contractors, and suppliers as required.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical support to team members.
• Deliver effective customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Other duties as required.
 
Job Requirements

 
Required
•  PMP
• 5+ year of project supervision or project management experience.
• Experience with engineering projects and technology transfer projects is an asset.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence project stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform process mapping and identification of critical path and tasks
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Technical aptitude in software and hardware setup and design
• Strong project and change management skills.
