About the Opportunity:
The Manufacturing Test Technician is responsible for supporting testing of our secure communication systems with primary focus on circuit board & LRU testing including environmental stress screening. The test technician must also assist test engineers with troubleshooting and rework. The ideal candidate exhibits strong technical ability, good communication, and effective time management.

What You'll Do:
Essential functions of the position (Other functions may be delegated as needed) - Sets up and performs functional / final testing of circuit card assemblies along with top level LRUs.
- Sets up Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment including Vibration and Thermal chambers along with performing the ESS Tests.
- Operates a standard variety of electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, analyzers, power supplies, meters and any other special electronics test equipment necessary for testing.
- Follows formal quality and test / specification documentation, aided by a Test Engineer when necessary.
- Diagnoses the cause of any malfunctions found at the top-level assembly, lower-level assemblies and / or circuit card assemblies of intricate audio transmitting / receiving equipment and makes all necessary corrections with the help from Test Engineering and / or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Provides verbal and written reports as required.
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned including electromechanical assembly and conformal coat masking, automated coating, coating removal & touch-up, bonding on CCAs.
