What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6+ years of Manual and CNC machining experience in a high technology manufacturing environment, including setting up machine tools, lathes, and milling machines.
- 6+ years of experience reading/interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
What Sets You Apart:
- Associate Degree.
- Must have a thorough knowledge in the operation of all metal working tools and machines, and the ability to determine the most efficient and economical methods of producing all materials and hardware related to or used in the construction of dies, fixtures, gauges, gigs, and tools.
- Able to set up and operate a variety of machine shop or sheet metal fabrication equipment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T).
- Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment on research and solution development.
- Experience with CAD cam (Mastercam and Autocad), Haas and Hurco controls.
- Programming for Mastercam.
- Experience making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds and speeds.
- Able to work independently, without direction, with all types of processes and prototype development instructions, including prints, sketches, schematics, memos, notes etc.
- Able to work with minimum supervisory guidance.
